This screen allows you to search for documents submitted for your forum.

Basic Search Fields
Title - Returns all documents whose title contains the specified term.
Author - Returns all documents whose author name contains the specified term.
Email - Returns all documents whose author's email contains the specified term.
Company - Returns all documents whose author's company name contains the specified term
Keywords - Returns documents matching the specified key word.
Abstract - Returns only documents with the specified text included in their abstracts.
Advanced Search Fields
Document Number - Returns ONLY the specific document whose number matches the specified terms. Note that there are two parts to the document number - the 4 digit year, and a three digit sequence number.
Document Type - Returns all documents of a specific type.
Working Group - Returns all documents attached to a specific working group.
Year - Returns all documents submitted in the specified year.
Sequence - Returns all documents matching the specified sequence number.
Sequence Before / After - Returns only documents with sequence numbers before or after the specified number.
Update Date - Returns only documents with the specified update date.
Updated Before / After - Returns only documents updated before or after the specified date.
Owner - Returns only documents owned by the specified user.
Things to know:
Each forum has the option to set up their "Document Type" and "Working Group" fields however they like. These fields might not even be called "Document Type" or "Working Group". The key here is that these are fields that allow the classification of documents into functional groups.
Search Control
This is the ARO Search Control panel. It controls how your search is processed. More information on the Search Control panel can be found here.
Export Control
The ARO export system allows you to create an export file of your search results. Click EXPORT to generate the file. Then, use your browser to SAVE the file as a text file on your computer. This file can be imported into many popular office suites as desired.
